The Kirstenhof & Environs Residents’ Association (KERA) serves as the voice of the greater Kirstenhof community, including Kirstenhof, Orchard Village, Klein Wassenaar, Norfolk Park, and Frogmore Estate. KERA monitors and addresses key issues such as:
Public participation in local land use, zoning, and departures.
Infrastructure and services in Kirstenhof, Norfolk Park, Frogmore Estate, and Orchard Village.
Reporting (C3 logging) of infrastructure faults.
Maintenance of open spaces, green areas, and verges.
Maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the City of Cape Town (COCT) through the Ward Councillor.
KERA is a voluntary committee, relying on resident membership fees to fund its activities.
All committee members are local residents who volunteer to serve the community through various portfolios:
Darryl Lawrence (Chairperson & Traffic)
Louise Kinrade (Secretary, Greenbelt, Parks & Open Spaces)
Barry Tranter (Treasurer, Membership & Water Resources)
Gary Rowe (Infrastructure)
Bruce Mack (Building Plans, Departures & Zoning)
Angelo Brown (Norfolk Park & Frogmore Estate)
Haylee Dugmore (Marketing, Social Media & Fundraising)
Vacant (Orchard Village & Klein Wassenaar)
